Back in the days of the Seattle grunge scene, I had the opportunity to play with some fun musicians and experience that part of the Seattle scene that only a few people really had the chance to enjoy. We were the babies in the scene coming in after Alice in Chains, SoundGarden and the likes.

As the name "names" imply, we covered 80s new wave music. In the process, we had the chance to open for bands such as Huey Lewis and the News, Loverboy, the Romantics, Flock of Seagulls, Paul Rogers of Bad Company and many more... Can I say this out loud? "Rockstars are a strange breed".

Frank Maudsley of Flock of Seagulls joked after sound check that we played "I Ran" way better than they did. Super funny guy and made our experience with them almost fun.
