I’ve spent the better part of three decades working in the interactive and UX space. Along the way, my work has contributed to operating-system experiences on mobile devices and Amazon storefronts responsible for billions of dollars in revenue.
After all these years, I still love working in UX. Whether I’m contributing as an individual designer, leading a team as a manager, or helping set direction as a director, each role brings its own challenges—and usually more than one possible solution. Finding the right solution, especially when the answer isn’t obvious, is where I do my best work.
I enjoy taking complicated problems, understanding them from multiple perspectives, and finding a path that works for the customer, the business, and the people responsible for bringing the experience to life.
But work is only part of who I am.

Motorsports, music, animals, and volunteer work have been part of my life since my high school days, and they continue to shape who I am as both a person and a colleague. I believe everyone is more than the person we see at work. Taking the time to know the people around you—even just a little—helps you understand what motivates them, what they bring to a team, and how you can work better together.
Great experiences are ultimately about people. I think great teams are, too.
